What is endpoint detection and response (EDR)?

Endpoint detection and response (EDR) monitors behaviour on endpoints rather than matching known malware signatures. EDR platforms collect and store telemetry from every endpoint, including process activity, system queries, network connections and user behaviour, which allows patterns to be analyzed over time and anomalies identified while an attack is in progress.

Analyzing historical endpoint data alongside real-time activity surfaces threats that signature matching alone would miss, including ransomware, credential theft and fileless malware.

When malicious activity is detected, the affected device can be isolated while the threat is analyzed, limiting lateral movement across the network. Root cause analysis then traces the attack path, how the intrusion occurred and which systems were affected.

A managed service puts that work with our analysts. Monitoring runs around the clock, detections are tuned to your environment, investigations are carried out on your behalf, and containment actions are taken under agreed authority. What reaches your team is a verified incident with the analysis attached.

What a managed EDR service covers

Endpoint monitoring runs around the clock, with detection and response handled by our analysts. Managed EDR covers deployment, configuration, continuous monitoring and incident response, backed by 24x7x365 coverage from experienced analysts. Your team gets verified incidents and the analysis behind them.

Benefits of outsourcing EDR security

Outsourcing EDR means your team gains expert threat response, compliance support, and operational efficiency without the complexity of managing it internally.

  • Enhanced security: Your security posture strengthens with best-practice processes and advanced tools, while you maintain complete visibility and control over your environment.

  • Expert skills on demand: Access deep cybersecurity expertise without hiring or key person dependencies. Your team focuses on strategy while our team of experts handle threat investigation and response.

  • Audit ready:  Maintaining compliance becomes easier. Built-in monitoring and controls align with NIST,  ISO 27001, PIPEDA, Bill 198, PCI DSS,  and other regulatory frameworks, reducing audit risk and preparation time.

  • Uninterrupted protection: 24/7/365 monitoring against defined SLAs means threats are caught regardless of time, internal availability, or circumstances. Expect business continuity with no gaps or single points of failure.

  • Predictable costs: Expert EDR coverage without the overhead of building an in-house team. No hiring, training, or tool management costs,  just predictable monthly expenses.

EDR FAQS

What is Managed Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)?

Managed EDR is a security service that provides continuous monitoring, detection, investigation, and response for endpoint threats. It protects devices such as laptops, desktops, and servers from advanced attacks using behavioural analytics and threat intelligence.

How does Integrity360’s Managed EDR service work?

The service integrates leading EDR technology with 24/7 monitoring and expert analysis from Integrity360’s security team. Alerts are triaged, threats are investigated, and customers receive real-time support and remediation guidance.

What makes Managed EDR different from antivirus software?

Antivirus tools rely on known threat signatures, while EDR detects suspicious behaviour, unknown threats, and fileless attacks. Managed EDR adds human expertise to automate, investigate, and respond quickly to sophisticated endpoint threats.

What types of threats does EDR protect against?

EDR protects against ransomware, credential theft, malware, data exfiltration, unauthorized access, and lateral movement. It’s particularly effective against threats that bypass traditional defences.

Is Managed EDR suitable for SMEs or only large enterprises?

Managed EDR is scalable and well-suited for organizations of all sizes. SMEs benefit from enterprise-grade detection and response without needing a full in-house security team.

Does the service support remote workers and hybrid environments?

Yes. The service provides full visibility and protection for remote endpoints, regardless of user location, ensuring consistent security across your distributed workforce.

Can EDR integrate with existing security tools?

Absolutely. Our Managed EDR service can integrate with SIEM, SOAR and other tools to enhance automation, incident tracking and response orchestration.

What sets Integrity360’s Managed EDR apart?

Integrity360 combines best-in-class EDR platforms with certified analysts who proactively and continuously manage detection, provide clear guidance, and optimize your endpoint protection posture.
