Candidates in this role will oversee and coordinate the activities of Security Operations Center (SOC) personnel and implement security assessment and incident response protocols. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to our Security team, coach personnel on technical issues and verify that they follow SOC policies to ensure all components are functioning optimally. Must establish and maintain metrics that help provide a high level of productivity, supportability, and operational readiness while also participating in project planning activities such as infrastructure enhancements and change management controls. You will communicate with management and serve as the organisational point of contact for business-critical incidents. You will provide overall direction for the SOC and input to the overall security strategy of the company.

You should have experience in the following areas:
SANS certifications are desired with additional security certifications, such as CISM/CISSP, an advantage
