Job Role & Responsibilities

The Bid Manager will lead the internal Bid Governance process and engagement regularly with the leadership team. You will manage, support and deliver on the production of bids and tender responses, working collaboratively with the sales team to co-ordinate and manage the activities of a cross-functional bid team to develop high quality winning proposals and tender responses for existing customers and potential new clients. You will be a strong bid writer yourself as well as an ability to lead a bid team. You will help define the strategy for the bid, build the story, and involve relevant stakeholders and departments to get the right answers to the questions. You will design and implement a quality bid process with sign on, mid-term and sign off to ensure that we provide high quality responses to our customers.

Responsibilities

The bid manager is a key role in our sales team. The successful candidate will be involved in every stage of the bid lifecycle to transform opportunities into high quality deals that bring value to both Integrity360 and its customers. The individual will play an important role in the delivery of sales excellence, with a proven track record in bid management. Strategic planning is a key part of the role requiring knowledge of the market, solutions/services, and competitors. Responsibilities include the following

  • Own and lead the Bid Governance process.
  • Facilitate weekly Bid Review meeting for sign on of new bids, provide input to the pre-qualification process to ensure all customer sales opportunities and bids are fully qualified and identified as winnable.
  • Responsible for Bid planning and production, identifying resource requirements, and driving the commercial review approvals process.
  • Prepare an action plan and activity tracker with clear communication on deliverables and timelines
  • Maintain a Bid library of re-usable bid material including company information, certifications etc.
  • Maintain the Bid Register for all bid opportunities
  • Engage with any third parties involved in the bid and ensure that their role and deliverables are clearly defined and understood
  • Ensure that all proposal and tender response documents are completed to a high standard and submitted on time
  • Form and lead the bid team
  • Implement and follow a best practice bid response methodology
  • Run and implement a lessons learned process to ensure lessons learned and built in to subsequent bids

Competencies

  • Strong written skills to complete tender and internal documentation to a high standard – you must have excellent Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
  • You will be highly attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with a focus on consistent quality.
  • Influencing skills that demonstrate the ability to get people at multiple levels to deliver what you need on time and with high quality
  • Infosec experience not essential but desirable

What you bring to us

  • Minimum of 3 years ‘experience working in the IT and/or Cyber Security sales sector with strong knowledge and understanding of the best practice bid management
  • Proven Bid Leadership and Management experience with an understanding of industry trends and customer demands.
  • Experience in preparing proposals and presentations to senior executives.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • The ability to collaborate across the partnership and build relationships internally and externally.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly.
  • Self-motivated with a hardworking and proactive approach.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Competent in Word Processing and Spreadsheet packages.
